Plans for Exhibition

Options for exhibition

I am currently considering 3 options for my exhibition piece. I do know for certain that I will be using 3 screens. 2 of these screens will be hung perpendicular to each other at the corner of two walls, and 1 screen will be placed on a stand opposite - creating a triangle.

Series of 3 people completing 3 routines

A routine of one person, a routine of two people, a routine of three people.

All routines have been notated beforehand - designed specifically for these amounts of people.

The build up. One perception THEN combined with another perception THEN combined with two other perceptions.

We are able to see how the first participant influences the other two.

We are able to see how the other two influence the first.

We see how the movements of the first have to evolve to accommodate the two new members.

Language becoming richer as more people become involved.

Series of 3 instalments - a journey of notation

FIRST ROUTINE performed without guidance by one group of people

Notated

THEN THIS NOTATION IS PERFORMED by a new, different group of people

Notated

THEN THIS NOTATION IS PERFORMED by a new, different group of people

Multiple filtering processes - but always returning to the filter of myself
